Community Hunger Strike!- In Solidarity with Residents who will be most impacted by the SCIG, residents and allies participated in a 24 HOUR HUNGER STRIKE to protest the SCIG. A project that threatens the health and well-being of Wilmington/West Long Beach and the region. This hunger strike was a non-violent way to protest the SCIG toxic rail yard, which will be built next to schools and homes in an already overburdened area if the City Council approves it.
